Complex Gaming — is it up right now?

A large Pixelmon network you can join from a phone I've been pinging play.mc-complex.com every ten minutes since October 11, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “Complex Gaming” does fine.

What I actually know

• 1,365 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 20:00 UTC and quietest around 08:00 UTC.
• It answered 100% of my checks over a week.
• It hasn't missed a single check since I started watching it.
• The most I've ever seen there is 2,498 players, on October 11.

When people actually play there

Average players by hour, over the last 14 days. Times are UTC.

How to join from your phone

1. Copy the address above.
2. Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
4. Name it anything, paste play.mc-complex.com as the address, port 19132.

In short

• Free to join. All you need is Minecraft itself.
• Modes: survival, economy, factions, minigames.
• Chat there is mostly in English.
• The server itself sits in Europe.

Others a bit like it

• DonutSMP 23,085 online
• DonutSMP 22,930 online
• Hypixel 19,740 online
• ReallyWorld 13,239 online
• ReallyWorld 13,231 online
• The Hive 12,513 online

This server isn't mine — I only list it, and its chat, rules and staff are its own. What I can vouch for is the measuring: one packet every ten minutes, and if it goes quiet for half an hour it drops off the list by itself.
