Hypixel — is it up right now?

Minigame network with Bed Wars, SkyBlock and Duels; joins on 1.8 through 1.21. I've been pinging mc.hypixel.net:25565 every ten minutes since August 10, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “Hypixel” does fine.

What I actually know

• 32,866 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 20:00 UTC and quietest around 07:00 UTC.
• It answered 99.8% of my checks over a week.
• The longest it stayed down in one go was 10 minutes, on August 11.
• The most I've ever seen there is 40,596 players, on August 16.

How to join from your phone

1. Copy the address above.
2. Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
4. Name it anything, paste mc.hypixel.net as the address, port 25565.

Note the port — 25565, not the usual 19132. Miss it and the server just won't show up.
