Hoplite — is it up right now?

Bed Wars and Battle Royale minigames; needs a 1.21.11 or newer client. I've been pinging play.hoplite.gg:25565 every ten minutes since October 11, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “Hoplite” does fine.

What I actually know

• 2,039 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 18:00 UTC and quietest around 06:00 UTC.
• It answered 95.2% of my checks over a week.
• The longest it stayed down in one go was 110 minutes, on October 22.
• The most I've ever seen there is 2,485 players, on October 24.

How to join from your phone

1. Copy the address above.
2. Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
4. Name it anything, paste play.hoplite.gg as the address, port 25565.

Note the port — 25565, not the usual 19132. Miss it and the server just won't show up.
