TalonMC — is it up right now?

Prison and Skyblock, plus a Cobblemon world where you catch and battle. I've been pinging bedrock.talonmc.net every ten minutes since October 11, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “TalonMC” does fine.

What I actually know

• 3,030 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 19:00 UTC and quietest around 08:00 UTC.
• It answered 93.5% of my checks over a week.
• The longest it stayed down in one go was 10 minutes, on October 11.
• The most I've ever seen there is 5,224 players, on October 17.

When people actually play there

Average players by hour, over the last 14 days. Times are UTC.

In short

• Free to join. All you need is Minecraft itself.
• Modes: prison, skyblock, survival.
• Chat there is mostly in English.
• The server itself sits in North America.

Others a bit like it

This server isn't mine — I only list it, and its chat, rules and staff are its own. What I can vouch for is the measuring: one packet every ten minutes, and if it goes quiet for half an hour it drops off the list by itself.
